About
Little Navigators
Little Navigators is a female founded boutique early learning provider that creates nurturing, safe and engaging environments for children from six weeks to school-age. Our childcare centres are located in Everton Park and Hadfield, with more on the way!
90% of your child’s brain will develop in their first five years. While your child is busy having fun, their little mind is busy developing new social, physical, creative and cognitive skills.
Our family-first centres have been designed to elevate your child’s development by creating a nurturing and stimulating space for little learners.
Our approach to early childhood education
At Little Navigators, we understand that the first five years of life are pivotal for brain development. Our approaches to early childhood education are holistic and focus on a child’s wellbeing alongside their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Our curriculum incorporates movement, creative & sensory activities, music, reading, healthy meals, cooking classes, gardening opportunities as well as plenty of time outdoors to nurture your child’s physical and mental wellbeing. Our outdoor play areas come complete with herb gardens, sandpits, and age-appropriate play equipment. Our kindergarten curriculum will prepare your child for the next steps in their education journey.
With research-backed early childhood approaches, thoughtfully designed spaces, and experienced educators, our Little Navigators Centres ensure a safe and supportive environment where children can navigate the world at their own pace.
Childcare philosophy
At Little Navigators, we strive to instill a lifelong love of learning in every child that walks through our doors. Our childcare philosophy stems from this sentiment and we embrace play-based learning as a core approach to fostering development and creativity in every child.
Our spaces are designed to inspire exploration and discovery. Natural light, mixed-age learning areas, and challenging equipment all encourage adventure and growth.
Children are far more capable than many realise, and by giving them the freedom to engage in child-led play in meaningful and fulfilling ways – along with a safe space and access to diverse learning opportunities – we create an environment that not only sparks creativity and supports cognitive development but also fosters a curiosity that becomes the catalyst for a lifelong love of learning.
We thrive on connection and community
Our educators know that everyday routines – like nappy changes and meal times – are an opportunity to connect with each child. This helps develop a sense of belonging, builds trust, and gives your child the confidence to reveal their authentic selves.
We also believe connection should extend to you. That’s why we provide regular updates on your child’s day through a dedicated app, plus we host social and educational events for families.
Connection and community is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to build strong, supportive connections within our centres while becoming an integral part of the local communities our centres service.
We love our Educators
We know happy and supported educators lead to happy and supported children. We continually invest in our educators and are proud to be setting the new standard for employment in the early learning sector.
We see our educators as an extension of our family and are a permanent mission to create a place talented people want to work for.
