Learning rooms at Little Navigators

Our childcare centres have been designed to grow with your child. We have five purpose-built learning rooms to cater to five key developmental stages children experience in their early years. From our beautiful nursery that mimics the comforts of home, to our engaging and interactive kindergarten room that challenges and inspires, our spaces adapt to your child’s needs.

Research shows that children learn best when they’re having fun, that’s why we believe in play-based learning. Our educators create age-appropriate engaging activities around your child’s interests to spark curiosity, develop social skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Our learning rooms are designed to promote exploration and discovery.

Nursery

(6 weeks to 18 months)

At Little Navigators, we provide a specialised childcare for infants and newborns from six weeks old. Our nursery program ensures our youngest navigators receive gentle care, engaging sensory activities, and a safe space to grow.

Starting childcare is a big moment for every family, and when looking for childcare for newborns and toddlers, finding somewhere that will adapt to your little one’s routine is key. We put a strong focus on maintaining their daily rhythms and creating a nurturing environment for your child. Our team are experts in making your little one feel at home and ensuring you, as a parent, are equally supported and reassured.

Routines

To make the transition from home as seamless as possible, we follow your child’s own daily rhythms, and create a strong circle of security.

Connections

Our educators will provide a safe and supportive environment where your child can feel loved, secure, and encouraged to explore and learn.

Partnerships

In this era of magical milestones, we’ll keep you up to date with your child's progress, share valuable insights, and encourage your active involvement.

Independence

Children are encouraged to develop independence through self-help experiences and opportunities to contribute to daily routines.

Communication

We provide various opportunities for children to express themselves, including literacy opportunities and modelling different communication styles.

Emotions

We help children identify and manage their feelings, teaching them valuable self-regulation skills.

Senior Toddlers

(2 to 3 years)

Our senior toddler program builds upon the foundation of our junior toddler room, offering more complex and challenging learning experiences.

Gross motor skills

We provide opportunities for advanced gross motor development, such as pushing large tyres, building structures, and navigating obstacle courses.

Social

We encourage children to work together and navigate social situations, fostering their problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Healthy challenges

We continue to support children’s development in areas like autonomy, communication, and emotional regulation, but with more complex and challenging projects.

Junior Kindergarten

(3 to 4 years)

Our junior kindergarten room begins to lay the foundation for your child’s school readiness. This includes regular collaboration with the kindergarten room.

Critical thinking

We foster children's decision-making skills, ability to sustain focus, and independence through intentional learning experiences.
